Apollo Wins Three-Year Fire-Safety Contract With The Disabilities Trust

Apollo FM is delighted to announce a new contract for fire safety work with one of our longstanding clients.

The Disabilities Trust has chosen Apollo’s Fire Protection Division to install, service, and maintain fire doors at 20 of its sites all over Britain.

Our work will begin immediately with the installation of new doors at several locations, and will continue with reactive maintenance works and annual services.

This kind of work is vital for any business in order to prioritise safety, and Apollo commends The Disabilities Trust for taking a pragmatic approach in this area.

A lot of companies neglect to look into their legal obligations, and others are put off from extensive works because of the cost, but the Trust was committed to doing whatever was necessary to prioritise the needs of its staff and service users.

It put this contract out to tender, approached Apollo to submit a proposal, and then chose us to carry out the work.

Apollo has a longstanding relationship with The Disabilities Trust (see our recent work at West Heath House and Jane Percy House), and we are delighted to continue to collaborate with the charity for years to come.

It is vital that all business owners understand that they adhere to the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRFSO) to ensure their premises, staff, and customers are safe.

By working with Apollo, they can carry out risk assessments, bring all their doors up to code, formulate evacuation strategies and carry out all remedial works to the highest part of the standard.
